The new Art and Design Technology Studios are of a very high standard, reflecting the importance we attach to offering a truly broad education and not just one that is centred on the core academic subjects.  Creativity, practicality and attention to detail are crucial life skills and our arts programme is designed to bring all these to the fore.

The triple aspect Art Room gives superb light for painting and drawing.   Its outlook onto our grounds is perfect for stimulating landscape painting and the pupils are also kept busy with pottery work and other creative challenges.

The Design Technology room is fully equipped including two lathes and pupils learn to work with a variety of materials including wood, metals and plastics.   Computers are used for project planning and design work.   Pupils are given increasingly complex challenges and produce sophisticated items that show off their creativity and ingenuity.
