At York House we have always offered an extremely wide range of lunchtime and after-school clubs, along with an exciting programme of outside trips for every year group.
The aim is to develop fully rounded individuals with broad general knowledge and interesting experiences so they can enthuse about and wide-ranging interests that set them apart from those with a narrower education. We are delighted that many of our pupils pursue a variety of sports and activities outside school hours.
All this strengthens the children's confidence and makes them more attractive candidates when they come to be interviewed by their senior schools. EXTENDED DAY
EARLY MORNING CLUB | For children from Nursery to Year 4
From 07:45 to 08:30 | £2.50 per session or from 08:00 to 08:30 | £3.50 per session
There is no need to book and can be used on an intermittent basis.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB | For children from Year 2 to Year 8
From 15:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday | £2.50 per half an hour sessions including light refreshments. Pupils staying beyond 16:30 a more substantial High Tea is available at an additional cost of £2. Click on the Menus page for Hot and Cold food options at High tea.
THE STARLIGHT CLUB | For children from Nursery, Reception and Years 1 & 2

AFTER SCHOOL SERVICES
Different arrangements can be made for each day of the week. We can be as flexible as possible. Please book 'tea' places in advance, either at the beginning of term for regular bookings, or in writing to the form teacher by 9am for ad hoc bookings. The costs will be added to your end of term bill. A letter and booking form can be downloaded on the right of this page. All clubs are run by qualified and caring staff.
