BURSAR

Applications are invited for the post of Bursar of York House School. York House is a thriving independent preparatory school enjoying a sustained period of pupil growth. Currently there are 360 boys and girls aged from 3 to 13 years. The school is set in 47 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, 5 minutes’ drive from the M25.

The Bursar is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the finances, property and non-teaching administration of the school. A suitable financial qualification is preferred together with strong management skills and the flexibility to oversee a wide range of activities. The Bursar is also Clerk to the Governors and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
