We make extensive use of our modern 25 metre, 5 lane, heated indoor swimming pool.

Children from the age of 4 years enjoy weekly swimming lessons as part of the standard curriculum.  Our instructor is fully qualified and adept at encouraging even the most nervous beginners to start to swim.  They soon become proficient and then the challenge is to get them out of the water at the end of their sessions in the pool!    

We also have extra curricular swimming clubs and there are regular galas against other schools, along with inter-house competitions.  

Naturally we have comprehensive life-saving arrangements and a number of staff have been specially trained.
