Placing your child into private education is both a financial and emotional investment, we understand this. Below are the basic facts that will help some of your questions. 
 
We encourage prospective parents to come and visit us and see the school for themselves. At York House School, we pride ourselves on the family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere that helps support all our children to grow and develop.

FEES

Our standard termly fees are as follows (effective September 2011):

Nursery  (flexible days to suit)     

£240 per term, per half day session taken each week for a minimum 3 sessions per week

or £335 per term, per half day session for less than three sessions per week.

(A full day = 2 sessions) Number of sessions will be agreed at time of admission and will be increased if required.

Pre-Prep, Junior and Senior Schools         £3,615 per term

These fees include lunch, text books, stationery, art materials, match expenses, and pupils' personal accident insurance.   Special outings and some after-school activities are charged extra, and private music lessons and SEN tuition are by individual arrangement with the teacher concerned.   Extended day care arrangements are offered at the following rates;

Early Morning Club (Nursery & Pre-Prep) is  £2.50 per half hour or part thereof

Starlight Club (Nursery, Reception and Years 1 & 2) is £2.50 per half hour or part thereof 

After School Club (Yr 1 - Yr 8) is £2.50 per half hour or part thereof

We also offer access to BUPA and a fees refund scheme in case of illness.  

OTHER FEES

There is a registration fee of £75. A deposit of £850 is payable when a place is offered and accepted, of which £450 is refundable against the first term's fees.  The remaining £400 is refunded if a child stays until they move to their senior school, but not otherwise, and the repayment is subject to any other final term's deductions.

BURSARY ASSISTANCE

Fees are payable termly in advance, or a monthly direct debit arrangement is available by arrangement with the Bursar.   

Bursary assistance is available in cases of financial hardship, where this makes it possible for a child to join and/or remain at the School. Please contact the Bursar if you would like to discuss this further - in strictest confidence.
