Additional charges for special outings, tickets, residential and other activities are advised in advance, including some clubs, after school care and hot tea which are charged according to bookings.

Bursaries

York House School is a charitable trust committed to widening access to York House education. The trust has a bursary scheme in place to assist in situations of hardship. We aim to offer places to pupils in the local community, whose parents would otherwise be unable to afford to pay the school fees to benefit from an education at York House. Bursaries, if awarded, are typically offered from Year 3.

An independent company will communicate with you directly to determine your financial status. This is strictly means-tested. Parents wishing to be considered for financial assistance should indicate this on the registration form. Please contact the Head or Bursar if you would like to discuss this further in the strictest of confidence

Bursary Assistance

Bursary assistance is available in cases of financial hardship, where this makes it possible for a child to join and / or remain at the School. This is strictly means-tested by using an outside organisation. New bursaries will usually be considered from entry at Year 3 but existing hardship cases may be looked at from Reception upwards.
