Our Pre-Prep is for children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Children then move to Lower School, Middle School and finally Upper School.

Our Pre Prep gives children a solid foundation in the core curriculum, focusing on giving every child a tool kit of learning to take with them for life.

Daily reading, Phonics sessions, Handwriting and Literacy lessons are supported with daily Maths lessons and Oral number work to build Maths fluency.

These high quality lessons sit within the broad and balanced curriculum, We allow all of our children the chance to excel in core subjects, alongside the Arts (Drama, Music and Art), Languages (French), Humanities (Geography, RS, History) and Physical activity (Swimming, PE and Games).  Computing is taught to the children when they join Reception.

Pupils may also participate in our co-curricular clubs and activities; with over 90 clubs across the school there is always something for everyone.

The Pre Prep children play in a well-equipped play area called The Orchard with both grass and Astro. The Orchard has many different area for the children to choose from; climbing frames, gardening, slides, bug hotels and a wonderful musical instrument area.

Each form is supported by a teaching assistant and our class sizes sit typically at 18. Due to our small classes every individual is continually monitored and assessed and, if appropriate, extra support or extension and guidance and guidance can be provided.
