Thank you for considering Little Yorkies Toddler Group. The group is open to all children aged 0 - 4yrs. We understand the need to be flexible with young ones so operate a 'pay as you go' group. We meet on Thursday mornings 08.45 - 10.30am (term time only) in the Pre-Prep activity room.
I am a York House Mum myself with a daughter in Pre-Prep. I also have a 2.5yr old son who attends Little Yorkies. I have been running Little Yorkies since September 2016.
The children are kept safe, busy and entertained within the activities room and (weather permitting) have the option of playing the beautiful surroundings of York House School.
Mrs Louise Ellis - Litte Yorkies Co-ordinator
The children can use puzzles, cars, bricks, dolls, baby toys, enjoy role playing or reading picture books and much more. Each week there are one or two art and craft activities. We use paint, modelling clay, glitter and glue - aprons are provided. You are welcome to take your child's artwork home at the end of the session or we can keep it safe until your next visit.
We are lucky to have some wonderful ponies, goats, sheep and pigs in the grounds that the children are able to visit. The children also use the cars, trikes and play areas in the Pre-Prep. If your child is a little too young (or the weather is too cold or wet!) you can always stay inside and enjoy the refreshments.
At the end of the session we all tidy up together and read a story.
Direction To Little Yorkies Activity Room
Approach the School House, go to the right through the small car park towards the large metal gates. Please go through the gate and immediately to your left is the School Office, you will need to sign in. If the gates are locked please use the intercom system to the left of the gates on the wall. Once signed in take a left out of the office and follow the path towards the Pre-Prep building. The entrance door to Little Yorkies is at the rear of the building, please follow the multi-coloured picket fence around to the right and underneath the covered play area - it is the last door at the end. You can park your pram outside under the covered play area.
Times, dates and cost
