UPPINGHAM SCHOOL MUSIC DAY
Ten York House musicians were invited to join a 400-strong orchestra at Uppingham School in Rutland, a first for the senior school to host that many pupils from Prep schools all across England. It was an incredible day and we are extremely proud of what all the children achieved.

WORLD BOOK DAY
It's always thrilling to see the level of effort that the children and staff put into their fictional character costumes to celebrate World Book Day. The day was made even more special when the Year 8 boys were invited to read their favourite books to the girls and boys in Pre-Prep.

SHROVE TUESDAY

A great tradition at York
House lunchtimes, Inter-House Pancake flipping! Many thanks to Mr Leigh and all his Chartwells staff for making this such fun for the children...

OUTDOOR LEARNING
The children learnt to read a compass, build a shelter and make bannock cakes on an open fire with Mark Williamson from Ridgway, Scotland.

RICKMANSWORTH FIRE BRIGADE VISIT
The firefighters showed the Pre-Prep children the fire engine and allowed them to spray the hose!

RUGBY TEAMS VISITING SARACENS STADIUM, ALLIANZ PARK
The boys had a stadium tour and a training session on the 4G pitch with the Saracens coaches.

YEAR 4 AT THE SCIENCE MUSEUM, LONDON
Following up class work on study of materials and watching Space Station 3D - out of this world!

YEAR 5 VISIT THE GLOBE THEATRE, LONDON
With the Middle School Production of Henry IV approaching next term, a trip to see the Bard's theatre was inspirational.
