York House

Wrap-around care at York House starts at 0730 and finishes at 1800.

We offer a variety of care options to cater for children outside of the school hours. This includes breakfast clubs (from 7.30am) if children need to arrive earlier than the usual school day, as well as after school clubs (ending at 6.00pm). Evening meals are available so that children are always cared for and looked after should families be running late or unable to drop off and collect pupils during work hours.

The first pupils can arrive at York House from 7.30am where they will be supervised in either the Dining Room for pupils (Yr3 - Yr 8) or in the Pre Prep Hall for pupils (Nursery - Yr 2). After school clubs are run by the school staff who oversee the respective clubs. These are known as Starlight for our youngest pupils (Nursery - Yr 2) and After School Club (ASC) for (Yr3-Yr8). There is also a hot tea option for families that have booked.

During ASC/Starlight, pupils have a supervised session of homework, whether that be daily reading in Pre Prep or homework for older pupils and there is also the chance for them to use our iPads and chrome books.

After School Care and Starlight closes at 1800 and, throughout this time, we have a Senior Member of Staff on duty until the last child leaves.
