Wrap Around Care

At York House, we understand the demands of busy schedules and the need for reliable child care beyond standard school hours. Our extensive wrap-around care program supports families with flexible options, ensuring your child is safe, engaged, and well cared for from early morning until evening.

We offer wrap around care for all pupils between 07.30 and 18.00. Please see the information and costings below:

The school opens at 07.30 and care can be provided for all pupils before classroom doors open at 08.00. There is no additional cost for pupils who arrive to school early.

If you wish for pupils to have a basic breakfast (e.g. slices of toast), there will be a charge of £1.00 per day.

Starlight is our after school care for children in Nursery to Year 2. Starlight is a popular choice with a number of children as there are many activities for them to take part in, all supervised by York House staff between 15.00 – 18.00 daily.

Cost: £4.00 per 30 minutes and part thereof (if you go into the next 30 minute slot the full 30 minutes is chargeable).

ASC is our after school care for children in Years 3 – 8. It is daily supervised after school care from 16.15 – 18.00. Children can connect with friends during this time, and they are encouraged to complete homework or read a book whilst in ASC.

Cost: £4.00 per 30 minutes and part thereof (if you go into the next 30 minute slot the full 30 minutes is chargeable).

Tea is available daily for all York House pupils who are staying for after school care/clubs and would like a hot tea. Tea is served between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, and the cost for a hot tea is £3.00 per child per day.
